Implemented 73 project with total amount of over 22 billion dongs

for upland areas.

Highland Education - Science - Health Development Organization (HEDO for short) was founded in 1990; its objectives are to promote human cultural standard, train human resource and gifted people and take care of human health through calling for support of Vietnamese and international organization. So far, HEDO mobilized and cooperated to implement 73 project with total capital of over 22 billion dongs for highland and ethnic minority areas. These projects are mainly carried out in upland and remote areas of Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Bac Can, Lang Son, Kontum provinces... which focus on building school, clinic, library, vocational training center, ethnic minority cultural center and providing facilities and medicines... to disadvantageous areas.

Following Resolution N^o22 of Political Bureau of Vietnamese Socialist Party and Decision 72 of Ministers’ Council which stated about socio-economic development in mountainous and ethnic minority areas, Highland Education Development Organization (HEDO for abbreviation) was founded 9 years ago.
